Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I come alone, or should I bring a friend?

The Re.Group Retreat experience is unique. While some women come with a friend, many come alone and take advantage of the freedom to remain quiet and unknown.

  • Who should attend?

    Anyone.

Typically the women who show up are used to leading, caretaking, and serving in high capacities. They arrive seeking rest.

Some are facing burnout, in crisis, or coming out of a tough season, pursuing answers and solace.

Quite a few women are sent to retreat by their home church. We aim to bless and send them back reset and able to continue blessing those they serve.

For the women coming that are grieving, sacred space is created to attend to the grief without interruption.

And some come without a heavy load, ready to see how God meets them during time away from the ordinary routines.

Reach out to us about your circumstances if you have questions.

  • Do I have to attend every part of the retreat?

Nothing is required of you. We truly mean that.

    Nothing is required.

We provide space, teaching, processes, and experiences to connect with God. Our primary goal is for you to bring yourself and your longings to Him. You get to choose how that looks for you. We point you to The One who calls you “my beloved,” and you determine how to meet Him.

In this reality and presence, you can release, repair, and reset.

  • The price point seems high, why?

We are not a church ministry or non-profit organization. We are three Christain women who have collaborated to create this unique retreat experience. We do not have a team of volunteers; we care for every detail to make a high-quality retreat experience.

Hundreds of hours go into each retreat before you arrive. Our desire is for each woman to feel well cared for, spirit, soul, and body.

We also don’t make you sleep in a crowded bunk room. Our primary goal is for you to connect with God and bring yourself and your longings to Him. That is tougher in a crowded room, where sleep might be difficult, or conversations feel forced.

Our Colorado retreats are two to a room. In Ohio, we have a venue that offers individual rooms. We desire you to feel comfortable with plenty of space to rest well.

One retreatant emailed us, saying, “The healing I experienced from the retreat was like I had six months of therapy, but it didn’t feel like therapy and didn’t cost as much as six months of therapy!”

  • What if I have allergies, can I bring my own food?

    Of course!

The retreat venues accommodate some special diets, but we cannot guarantee individual preferences or their strict adherence. There will be small refrigerators to use, or you can bring a cooler, and we help to keep the ice refilled. The pricing is all-inclusive, and we are unable to offer a discount for bringing your own food.

  • Do we have free time?

Yes! We emphasize that nothing is required of you, so feel free to create more free time whenever you need it.

But we also schedule downtime. The locations we choose have plenty of walking trails, a labyrinth, space to spread out, and places to sit by a window to journal or just be.

Plan to bring walking shoes, sturdy boots for Fall in Colorado, an umbrella, and layers.

We dismiss before noon on the last morning. We recommend spending extra time before heading home to drive into the small towns nearby or take in the scenery before returning to your homes and families.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

We will have already planned and paid for all aspects of your attendance except for food and profit. These are expenses we cannot recover if there is a cancellation.

We cannot issue any refunds within 14 days of the retreat as we may not be able to fill your spot, and we have a required minimum to meet at our retreat venues.
